Deer Stalking

Guided stalking for Red, Roe and Fallow Deer

Overview

Guided stalking for Red, Roe and Fallow Deer for both experienced and visiting hunters.

Deer stalking is the most contemplative of British field sports. A successful stalk is usually decided long before the shot — in the approach, the wind, the cover and the patience to wait for the right chance rather than forcing a poor one.

We stalk on estates where the deer are wild and genuinely challenging, across open parkland, ancient woodland and upland edge. The species available suit the season, and your guide will advise on which ground is likely to offer the best opportunity at the time you visit.

Guests travelling from abroad are welcome, and we can arrange loan rifles, zeroing on arrival and the practical matters of permits and transport so that you arrive ready to stalk.
