Wildfowling
Traditional wildfowling in England's finest wetlands
Traditional wildfowling and duck shooting in some of England's finest wetland habitats.
Wildfowling is the most purely traditional of all British field sports, and the one most shaped by weather, tide and the birds themselves. There is no certainty to it — only the long walk out on the ebb, the wait in the half-light, and the chance that the flight will come your way.
We work a number of consented marsh and foreshore grounds where the habitat is right for wintering duck and geese. Your guide will brief you on the ground, the tide state and the safe firing arcs before you take your stand.
Conditions can be demanding, and the best mornings often come in the worst weather. We will help you prepare properly, and we will never take you somewhere beyond your experience or comfort.
